Affordable Tuition.

Our Philosophy

Our online fundraising classes are affordable with options for scholarships to allow movement fundraisers at all skill levels, within all titles ranges, and from organizations of all sizes to attend.

  • We have three standard price ranges: $150 for Beginner classes, $250 for Intermediate classes, and $350 for Advanced classes.

One class, both our longest and our most advanced, is $700.

We price classes this way as most Beginner classes will be taken by younger organizations or entry-level employees, with more Advanced classes taken by more senior-level staffers or more established organizations. Classes are open-level with no pre-requisites, though someone with no fundraising experience might find the pacing of our Advanced classes challenging.

We have 90 hours of instruction and the total cost if you took all of our classes is $3,050. On average, our fees are $33.88/instruction hour, though this is sometimes more or less depending on the class.

  • We keep our class prices really low so there’s no guess work, no budget calculations, and no math for you to do to figure out what you pay. Because of that, we don’t offer multi-person discounts.

  • When you register for a course, you can pay directly on our site.

  • We prefer web payments, but understand that some organizations need to pay for professional development via ACH/check. If you can pay online, please do!

If you can’t, email us at info@thefundraiserschool.com and we can send you an invoice.

  • We offer full refunds 30+ days before classes. 29 days prior to classes, we do not refund tuition. However, we do offer the ability to hold your tuition for a future class or pass it to another member of your staff up until the day class starts.

Yearlong Intensive purchases do not qualify for refunds.

  • We opened The Fundraiser School in order to provide low-cost classes to fundraisers directly.

Consultants are often attending courses with different outcomes in mind than movement fundraisers—they’re looking for new skills to teach clients, examples of classes or tools that might work for clients, or trying to stay on top of what’s happening in the field. As such, attending one of our classes means consultants are coming to us not to learn how to fundraise but how to teach fundraising. We love this! And we’re happy to have you in class.

We do ask that people who are using what they learn in our classes for profit, consulting, or private enterprise pay $100 per class hour as tuition as their outcomes differ from the intended outcomes our reduced fee courses were developed for. The rate for consultants also honors our labor in creating courses they want to learn from at a teaching level. This is still a reduced fee from what we would change in a private, group setting.

These fees go directly into our scholarship fund.

To pay this rate, you can email us at info@thefundraiserschool.com.
