Planned Giving 101
Tues, April 8, 2025
1-5pm EST
Created to help break down the components of planned giving, this course helps fundraisers build power for the long haul by pairing grassroots fundraising techniques with planned giving best practices.
Most people don’t think about adding organizations into their estate unless asked directly, meaning that organizations with bigger budgets often receive the bulk of their funds. But as a people powered movement, we want to give people the opportunity to build a better world with their legacy giving. That means we need the tools in place to reach them.
Designed to be a 101 for anyone looking for where to start, this class will give you ideas of where to look next for building out your program.

This course has 4 live-taught modules.

We ask about access in all of our sign-up forms. We can accommodate most needs (needing slides ahead of time, needing slides a certain size, needing alt text, etc). We also can accommodate closed captioning.
Other access needs like needing your camera off, needing breaks, not going into break out rooms, being told activities ahead of time, we can accommodate as well. If you’re not sure, reach out to info@thefundraisingschool.com. We do our best to accommodate every access need we can.
