New fundraisers often focus on the wrong messages in their cases for support: the technical pieces of what they do, their founding story, and their long-term hopes.

They leave the most impactful messaging on the table: what you can do with the funding in the short-term, how it will help you build for the long-term, and why you’re the right ones for the job.

This course helps fundraisers craft emotive cases for support backed by data that move donors to deeply invest in your work.

  • This course has 3 live-taught modules.

    1) What most cases of support miss

    2) Assessing your current case for support (written or verbal)

    3) Creating a new case for support

    This class is one of our classes where you can co-work with your colleagues in class and we encourage you to send the entire team who is working on a case for support.

  • This course has one clear outcome: a well-defined and honed case of support ready for launch.

  • 1) Teams working on cases for support for a new organization or a revamped mission/vision/strategic plan.

    2) Grant writers, grassroots writers, and major donor officers struggling to write compelling copy or pitch effective stories.

    3) New fundraisers.

    4) New Development Managers/Directors or Executive Directors trying to find their own voice with existing messaging.

  • Kirstie helps organizations work on cases for support for new strategic plans, scaling/capital campaigns, their organization as a whole, or one campaign.

    Her messaging combines data and emotion to allow donors to feel their impact. She has a history of running $1M+ campaigns powered by this messaging for larger organizations and helping newer organizations secure their first five or six figure gifts with powerful messaging at their backs.

  • We ask about access in all of our sign-up forms. We can accommodate most needs (needing slides ahead of time, needing slides a certain size, needing alt text, etc). We also can accommodate closed captioning.
